Welcome to the Einstein Classroom

About our program:

In the Einstein classroom our focus is kindergarten readiness.  As part of our Preschool program, Young Scholars purchased a Pre-Kindergarten Literacy and Math program based on the kindergaren curriculum of Cotton Creek Elementary and Robert Crown Elementary/District 118.  Our staff worked very closely with the Curriculum Director of School District 118 to develop a curriculum that directly coorelates to that of District 118 elementary schools.  Essentially, both Young Scholars and School District 118 are using the same curriculum for math and literacy which will provide a smooth transition for our preschoolers when they enter kindergarten.  Young Scholars is the first preschool to work with school district #118 regarding Pre-Kindergarten curriculum and purchasing the same curriculum.  We are excited being able to offer this to our students and being able to begin their academic careers with a strong base in these two subjects.

Meet our teachers:

Miss Marcie

Miss Marcie has been working at Young Scholars since August 2003.  Miss Marcie has experience working in all of the rooms at the center.  She loves working here because she feels that it is like being a part of a big family and she can be close to her children.  She lives with her husband and two little boys.

Once children have completed the pre-kindergarten program they are ready for graduation!
Each year, the children participate in a very special graduation ceremony with friends, family, and Young Scholars staff looking on!  From the ages of Kindergarten to 5th grade, the children enjoy activities and fieldtrips on days off of school in the Galileo Classroom!
