Welcome to the Galileo Classroom.
This classroom will allow your child to explore and focus on developing their self-esteem and independence in a structured setting. The children in this class will be given the opportunity to develop at their own pace and are offered encouragement and support in trying new things.

Hello! My name is Ashley Concidine and I am a preschool teacher at Young Scholars in Gurnee. I have been working here since January 2008 and I love it! I am 23 years old and I graduated from Illinois State University in December with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I've been working with children for about 7 years and I can't think of a better job to have. I live in Waukegan with my boyfriend. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and just being with people I love!

Our center also participates in building community, we are proud to have raised $207,000 for the Converse Park Playground in Island Lake in 2004.
