The Mozart Classroom

Hello and welcome to the Mozart classroom! Our program will allow your infant to explore their world through many new learning experiences and will focus on developing their self-esteem and independence in a structured social setting. The children in our class will be given the opportunity to develop at their own pace and are offered encouragement and support in trying new things. Our program will provide an enthusiastic, nurturing environment in which your infant can grow, learn, and have lots of fun.

Young Scholars teachers care for babies as young as six weeks old with sincere love and affection, and constant attention to developmental needs. Infants are cared for in a warm, loving, infant-only setting - similar to the one they have at home - where they can build trust in themselves and in their teachers. While in our care, your child will continue to receive cognitive and physical stimulation to promote development.

Young Scholars infant curriculum consists of developmentally appropriate activities designed to help your infant reach key milestones. As a parent, you are assured that your child is exposed to different stimuli and learning activities at the developmentally appropriate activities at the developmentally age appropriate pace.

My name is Eileen and I've been working here at Young Scholars since April, 2008.  I  got married on April 13th, 2008 to my wonderful husband.  I'm working on a degree in Psychology in which I hope to work with young children.  I like to play paintball and I especially like to go fishing during my free time.

~Miss Ashima~

I was born in the capital city of India- New Delhi -to loving parents (Anil and Rebecca), and am the 2nd of 3 children (1 older sister, 1 younger brother).  I completed my Bachelors of Arts from Allahabad University in India (outside of New Delhi).  I have been fortunate to work for wonderful companies such as IBM, ITQ (InterGlobe Technology Quotient) and Taj Palace Hotels.  My primary function was in Human Resources; however at Taj Palace I was responsible for organizing special functions for VIP/Celebrity guests from around the world.  I was responsible for their children's party planning and also coordinating events.

I married Hemanshu Singh in April of 2007 and relocated to the US last August.  My husband has been in the US since the early 80's and has 3 sisters of his own.  He works for a Pharmaceutical company out of Deerfield, IL.  Last year he completed his Master's degree.

Since coming to the US, I have changed career objectives from HR to Early Childhood Education.  This has always been a field of interest for me; however the opportunity to pursue this is more available now.  I hope to pursue higher education in Early Childhood Education in the coming years and use this to help and guide the children at Young Scholars Child Care Center.
In my free time, I enjoy reading spiritual materials, beading, cooking, working out, interior decorating our new home, and learning more about the States.

A weekly lesson plan is posted in the room the first  Monday of each week with our developmentally appropriate activities.  Each day your baby will be sent home with a daily report indicating to the parent(s) what their sleep habits were, amount of food/bottles consumed as well as diaper changes.  Teachers will also write little comments about how your babies day was at "school".
