Our facilities are mandated by the Department of Children and Family Services to maintain minimum standards
for our teaching staff. At Young Scholars, we believe that higher education paired with quality on-the-job experience
and training is the key to sustaining a successful program.
Our
teachers vary in educational credentials from Associates Degrees in Early Childhood Education or other AA's with
classes in ECE to Masters and Graduate Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, etc.
Regardless
of the educational accommplishments of our teachers and directors, our staff are always encouraged to take classes,
attend conferences, or attend our many in-service sessions offered right at our facilities.
Each
teacher is certified in CPR and First Aid by the Fire Department in our communities.
