Hand Washing!
Please make sure your child is washing their hands when entering their classroom!

Sick Children
Now that we have approached flu season please remember to call the center if your child is out sick.  We will also be calling you to pick up your sick child if he/she has a fever over 101.0, fever of 100.0 with a runny nose, vomiting or discharge from the eye(s), etc.  The only way to keep the center relatively germ free is if we keep sick children at home until they are over the contagious period.  We know what a hardship it is for parents to miss work because of a sick child but at the same time sick children continue to spread disease and it becomes one continuous cycle that never seems to end if we do not send sick children home.  If you have any questions regarding our sick policy please feel free to see a Director.

Employee of the Month!

Miss Nicole is our March employee of the month!  Miss Nicole had numerous nominations for taking pride in her position and coming to work with her heart set on the children.  Miss Nicole is constantly thinking of others and always staying the few extra minutes to make someones day easier.  Miss Nicole helps teachers who are working in the classroom alone.  Great job Miss Nicole and thank you for all your hard work!

Chilly Weather
Make sure that your child has the correct clothing for going outside and that the extra clothes in their cubby are appropriate for the weather.  Even if it is warm for running from the car to the building make sure your child has a HAT, COAT, and GLOVES.  Each classroom goes outside to play daily and it gets chilly without these items!

Summer 2010
It’s hard to believe, but warm weather isn’t too far away!  For us it means that it is time to start planning our summer program for our students.  In order to plan things effectively we would appreciate knowing as soon as possible if your child’s schedule will be changing at all for the summer months.  Please let a director know if there will be any changes for you child.

Thank you in advance for helping us to plan the best summer program we can!

Year End Statement
If you are in need of a year-end statement for your taxes please sign up at the front desk.  We will print it out for you and put it in your childs cubby.  The statement will include our tax ID #.

Tuition
Just a reminder to all families as of March 1st, 2010 tuition rate increased.  Please remember that your tuition is due by the close of the first day that you are in attendance in order to avoid a $30 late fee.  The late fee is not negotiable and is automatically applied the following morning after the first day you sign in for that week.  If a late fee is applied to your account, a notice will be put in your cubby.  This policy is written in the parent handbook that you signed and agreed to when you applied to the center.  We have had many families lately not paying their tuition on time and it puts the center in a difficult position when trying to keep our accounting complete in order to pay our bills.  If for some reason you have payment difficulties that you need to discuss with us, please feel free to speak with a Director.
